Glamour Puss, Bohemian Mama or the Rocker Chick-The Best of Fall 2009 Hair Trends

I know what your thinking, we just told you about summer trends, are we already onto fall? Not quite yet, but there were some similarities and we loved the trends so much, we're just busting to tell you about them!   We narrowed them down to a few styles, that are practical, don't require much effort but are stunning none the less.

The Centre Part

This look is particularly dramatic with long hair.  Whether it's stick straight or romantic wavy long hair, center part and you're good to go.  What if you have bangs?  It still works,  just centre part them and sweep them to the two sides.  If your hair is bone straight it's a great rock and roll look! If your hair has a bit of a wave to it, you'll be Boho chic. Pair it with smoky eyes and natural lips and your right on the money.

High Powered Updo's

If you have the time to do this, go for it.  By high power, we mean have some form of body and edginess to your updo hair.  Tease up the bangs and hair on top, then pull the rest back.  Try having your hair slicked back and up into an interesting braid or just pull it all up, but tease out your bun on top.  If it has a bit of texture, you'll be looking good.  This look is great for night time and the glamour puss in all of us!  Pair with slim lined upper lids and neutral lips, or red lips and natural eyes and your smoking.  If your going to do smoky eyes with this look, keep the colors neutral and more understated, you don't want to take away from the drama of your hair.

Straight Pulled Back Hair

For the no fuss girl, this look is still hot. Just slick in back neatly into a neat low sitting bun, and your done.  You can centre or side part hair, either way will be hot.  This fall you don't have to have the perfectly manicured and wet look of past, as long as it's neat with a bit of effort, you'll be fine.  This look works with just about all of the makeup trends, smoked eyes/neutral lips/,red lips/natural eyes/, or the overall natural girl with gloss and mascara.

We though we'd break down the trends according to hair length for you:

Long hair

-center parting with straight hair or soft waved hair

-teased up bangs and crown with slick back hair

-pulled back hair with a low bun, or a medium height pony

Medium hair

-as above with long hair

-try side parting hair and keeping your hair neatly straight

-slick your bangs and crown hair back, but leave your ends loose and even teased out a little (very hot!)

-bob that is short and contoured to your face shape with fringed bangs-updated bob

Short hair

-slicked back

-pixie cut with side swept longer bangs or shorter bangs with texture body (fringed is always good)
