Do you remember that Simpson's episode where the fat comic book guys, kept saying "worst episode ever!".  This is the fashion article equivalent to that.  There is just something about these trends that have a hint of cheese or worse yet that after worn remorse that I can't put my finger on!  So let's call this article "worst fashion trends ever!"

1) Big Shoulder Padded Jackets

Yeah, yeah,  I know it's all the rage this season, but that doesn't mean that it isn't a bit cheesy!  This is a look that does not stand the test of time.  If you don't believe me, type in "80's fashion" in your internet and look at the images that come up-pretty scary isn't it?  Worse part is that will probably be you in 10 years when you look back at that jacket you wore this season.  If you're gonna try this one, the best advice is to not  go to over the top on this one, a hint of padding is better than the football player look, so remember that when you're choosing that jacket.

2) Neon Clothing

Again a trend that seems to be coming back, but there is something about look this that makes me think of a WHAM video, legwarmers and maybe popping in a FAME video, that I don't want to relive.   If you're trying this, then at least make it something small, like a cute purse or shoes, but not a coat or pants-too much attention and too much neon!

3) Denim on Denim

Thankfully this has not come back in style and for good reason, it was just a bad idea to begin with!  Now don't get me wrong, jeans are always fashionable and great looking (well except acid wash stuff) but just not to much of it!  So gear down and choose your denim-ether on top or bottom but don't do both!

4) Harem Pants

MC Hammer anyone?  Why on earth a person in the 20th century would want to look like a genie is beyond me, but hey it was the 80's, the economy was booming, life was easy and anything went!

5) Preppy Collars-you know that turned up collar look

If this doesn't scream pompous ass to you, then you probably are one-sorry, but someone has to tell you, that's why you collar is trying to escape from your neck.....

and last but not least

6) Baggy (and backwards) Clothing

Some bagginess is ok, but the jeans past your bum, XXXL jersey and the site of your white undies popping out is just not fashionable- EVER!
