2008 HOT COLORS FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS PART II
LANCOME
We talked about the Cabana Bronze Collection that Lancome just brought out (bronzers with red and pink makeup to compliment), but they also brought out some new colors for summer 2008.
For eyeliner, the Color Design Defining and Brightening Eye Pencil Duo ($28.00) has a Sun kissed Khaki (gold and green), Poolside bronze(bronze and blue) and Exotic Plum (cream and purple). For lips there are new shades in the Color Fever Shine collection ($25.00) that are browns-neutrals (Tropic Tease), pinks-berries and reds-corals (Caribbean Crush and Midnight Dip) in tone. For glosses, the Color Fever Gloss ($23.00) has similar tones, with the new shades of Summer Night (copper), Luxuriate (pink) and Sizzling (red).
Lancome has also introduced a new line of color to their popular Color Fever Gloss and Shine collections- the Color Fever Roses Collection. It is a vibrant lip color that are pink and red in nature-the true color of roses.

MAC
Naughty Nautical Collection-Leave it to MAC to do something out of the mold. A collection of vibrant, blues, reds, pinks and corals, with nautical names as if your at the port cruising for some loving. For foundation there is the Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation/Loose ($35.00)- a loose powder foundation with matte finish and SPF 15. For eyes, there is the Eye Shadow ($16.50), with highly pigmented new shades like Submarine (an aqua blue), Meet The Fleet (matte midnight blue), Illegal Cargo (frosty greyed plum) and Pandamonium (frosty gunmetal with white pearl). For those who like an even bolder look, try the Pigment ($23.50) in the new shades with a blue theme: Bell-Bottom Blue (dirty blue with white pearl), Mutiny (sky blue with gold pearl). Lovely Lilly (dirty lilac with red pearl) and Lark About (frosty white blue). For Lips, you can't go wrong with MAC'S Lipstick ($16.50) in new shades of reds (Port Red-yellow red with gold pearl) and pinks (Party Mate-mid tone, Ahoy There-dirty pink with pearl and Buoy-O-Buoy- pink brown). If gloss is your thing, the Lustreglass ($16.50) has shades of pinks, plums and browns all infused with a pearly white finish.

NARS
Exotica Collection-Eyes are neutral in color with a hint of color, as evidenced by the new Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Unconditional Love ($32.00 www.narscosmetics.com), a sea foam and shimmering copper duo that gives some unexpected color to your neutral tones. For lips, your can go lighter with the Supervixen LIp Gloss in Sparkling Mauve ($24.00) or for more color try the MIsbehave Lip Gloss in Sheer Cherry Red with Gold Shimmer ($24.00). If you want intense color with a matte finish, try the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils. The new colors are varying shades of pink-Dolce Vita (a dusty rose) and Roman Holiday (pastel pink). For a more traditional type of lip color, go for the Lipsticks ($24.00), the new shade Mindgames is a brandy color with a sheer finish.
THE LOOK:NEUTRAL EYES WITH SOME COLOR (GOLD, SEA FOAM), LIPS ARE PINK, RED AND CAN HAVE A GOLDEN SHIMMER TO THEM.
SMASHBOX
Desert Chic Collection:Desert inspired shades, infused with red earth minerals to give you a warm glow. Eyes and skin are bronze with red/pink undertones to them, as can be seen with the Desert Chic Fusion Body Bronzing Powder and Brush Set ($55.00), and Fusion Eye and Cheek Color ($28.00). There is also some color with the Desert Chic Shadow and Liner Quad ($30.00). There is a turquoise (another blue!), gold, copper and cream to this palette. For lips, corals and golds are the colors of choice. The Desert Chic Lips Enhancing Gloss ($18.00) new shades are red rock (coral-red), cactus flower (coral-pink) and sand (golden nude).
THE LOOK:BRONZED SKIN WITH A WARM RED UNDERTONE, COMPLIMENTED WITH TURQUOISE EYES WITH A COPPER/GOLDEN FINISH. LIPS ARE CORAL WITH WARM UNDERTONES, OR GOLDEN.
URBAN DECAY
Summer 2008 Collection. Leave it to Urban Decay to do something against the grain!! Essentially there are some new vibrant colors being introduced to their Big Fatty Mascaras ($17.00) Black Cherry, Electric Blue, Indigo and Purple Haze. These pair well with the Deviant 24/7 Glide On Eye (a bright electric blue), to make your eyes pop. Lips are a glossy red or sparkly pink. Our favorite was the XXX Shine Lip Gloss ($16.00) in Quickie. They do have bronzers in their summer collection, with a new Body Bronzer, Santa Tanita Body Bronzer ($28.00). This lightweight bronzing mousse can be used on face and body to give you a bronze glow. If you prefer powders, The Big Buddha Brush ($36.00) will make your application of the Baked Bronzer powder ($24.00) easy. You can compliment this with the Blaze and Rush Eyeshadows ($16.00) pigment rich bronze and brown to compliment your tan. What we loved the most, is the new De-Slick Mattifying Powder ($28.00), which is fab for those warm, sticky summer nights. It's a lightweight, shine stopping pressed powder, that keeps oil and shine to a minimum. Trust us, you'll love this powder!
THE LOOK:BRIGHT BLUE OR PURPLE EYES, WITH BRONZED SKIN AND RED OR PINK GLOSSY LIPS
LISE WATIER
La Toscana. Inspired by the charms of Tuscany, the colors of this collection-turquoise blue, copper,cypress green and terracotta, evoke the splendors of the region. Eyes are either turquoise blue, complimented with pinkish brown, sand and terracotta, the Mer Eye Quartet ($35.00), or green (a delicate green, deep green complimented with copper and beige), the Terre Eye Quartet($35.00). These are complimented with the Glitter pencils ($16.00), which are copper, green, blue and purple in color. Lips are orange,amber, sand or rose (the Toscana Stick Gloss $18.50).
